Smells like: A slow walk in the woods with your eyes closed. Fresh and spicy with a complex mix of ginger, oak, black pepper, lavender, cedarwood, and clove. More or less earthy with just a tiny touch of spice. Honestly it's pretty darn sexy but "sexy" isn't a fragrance group so I guess "masculine" will have to do.
What I like about it: Shaving soap is a tricky one for me as it uses two kinds of lye and a different process than my normal soaps. However, the lather is AMAZING. You WILL want to use a shaving brush and watch a bunch of youtube videos for how to produce lather with a shaving bar. Or ask my husband.
Note: There are two sizes available - the 3 oz (2.75 inches in diameter) will fit in a coffee cup and the 2.3 oz (2.4 inches in diameter) is designed for smaller shaving cups. This soap is lightly scented as it's intended for use on the face for shaving (but heck, you can really shave any place with it). That being said, I didn't want it to overpower the senses during use.

Soapy Rules
Allow soap to fully dry between uses on a draining dish for a longer-lasting bar.
Store upright in a dark place until ready for use.
Homemade soap is like wine - the longer it ages, the better it gets!

And since I'm a one person show with a real job and a farm, there are only so many hours in a day I can work on creating...so if your favorite bar isn't back in stock yet, just give me a heads-up so I can add it to the list.
